How long does it take to administer IV Nutrient drip?

IV nutrient drips often take around 30-60 minutes on average to administer. This follows a short 15 minute consultation ahead of your treatment to go through your medical history.

Is IV Nutrient therapy necessary for me?

IV Nutrient Therapy directly introduces 100% of the vitamins and nutrients into your system. Ingested vitamins and nutrients are subject to the absorption barrier in the gastrointestinal tract. You need to ingest vitamins and nutrients in larger amounts and more frequently in order to achieve similar concentration as you would via intravenous or intramuscular supplementation. Ingestion of large amounts of vitamins can result in upset stomach, and in certain circumstances and conditions, this absorption can be severely limited resulting in deficiencies that can upset the delicate balance of the body. If you find it difficult to maintain oral supplementation or struggle to feel the effects due to the reduced absorption orally, IV Nutrient Therapy is right for you.

How often should I get IV nutrient therapy?

Following your consultation with our medical professional, we will advise on the best wellness programme for you, including frequency of treatments and the ingredient levels.

One of the main benefits of IV Therapy is fast, more effective results without gastrointestinal side effects, absorption issues or loss of potency.

What is IV nutrient therapy?

The effectiveness of oral supplementation is very dependent on your gut and general health. If there are any underlying health conditions present, it may play a role in absorption rates of nutrients from food or oral supplements. Several factors affect our body’s ability to absorb nutrients in the stomach such as age, metabolism, health status, or lifestyle habits. Higher levels of the nutrients in your bloodstream lead to greater uptake into cells, which theoretically will use the nutrients to maintain health and wellbeing.

What is a mineral tissue heavy metal analysis (MTHMA)

A non-invasive deep-tissue analysis that detects in real-time the excess or deficiency of vitamins, minerals, trace elements and heavy metals in the body. The analysis allows our doctors to determine if further blood testing is required and to create a more targeted treatment approach for the client to achieve maximum results. Our goal is to enhance the clients’ wellbeing, detoxify the body if heavy metals are present in order to target oxidative stress and free radicals which can create long-term health risks.

What is the difference between a blood test and a tissue test?

With the mineral tissue heavy metal analysis, it scans the tissue and it is intra-cellular. Blood testing is extracellular and showcases results coming directly from the blood. In all cases, the doctor would request for both to ensure accuracy.

What is Chelation Therapy?

Heavy metal poisoning is caused by the accumulation of toxic metals (mercury, arsenic, lead, cadmium, etc.) in the body through food, water, chemicals and other means from the environment we live in. Excessive levels of heavy metal poisoning can cause many health related issues. Lead poisoning can damage the brain and nervous system as well as the stomach and kidneys.

Chelation IV therapy is a very effective way to treat heavy-metal poisoning by injecting a chelating agent, EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid), into the body. This medical procedure is an FDA-approved prescription for the treatment of lead poisoning as it binds with the harmful metals and eliminates them through the kidneys. The process takes on average 2 hours.
